Racine Habitat ReStore

Construction Materials Reuse Center

Habitat ReStore has been open for over one year and is going great thanks to all who donate items and to all who shop at the ReStore.

The ReStore is a construction materials reuse center. Through individual and corporate donations of overstocked, discontinued, or slightly used building materials, ReStore offers materials such as furniture, cabinets, lighting fixtures, sinks, windows, doors, hardware, and much more for sale to the general public. All profits generated help build or rehab Habitat homes for our community.

ReStore donations must be evaluated and approved before being dropped off. Diverting usable materials from our landfills is also a major goal of this project.

Habitat for Humanity’s mission is the elimination of poverty housing. ReStore profits will enable Racine Habitat to build additional homes. The sale of these materials at a low price will also support neighborhood revitalization.

Stop in and check it out.  Items change every day.
